Maison Belle Reve

This magnificent Queen Anne/Victorian house was built in 1892 by Frank Gordon, president of the Coopers' (barrel makers) Association, on four parcels of land facing Prytania Avenue. Over the years, the house has changed hands several times. The current owners, Guy and Kimberly Mouledoux, have restored the house to a single-family dwelling, maintaining the architectural integrity of the original design.

Experience the majesty of our nineteenth century home with spacious rooms, 13-foot ceilings, and unique architectural details. During your stay in either one of our two beautiful guestrooms, you will also have access to a tv room with an extensive entertainment library, our comfortable formal parlor, and even a game room. When you stay at Maison Belle Reve, we will do our best to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

The house is centrally located in Uptown New Orleans, just two short blocks off St. Charles Avenue and the streetcar, walking distance to Magazine Street, and minutes away from the Garden District and the historic French Quarter. Maison Belle Reve is perfectly situated for the traveller who wishes to explore New Orleans in full. Your hosts, Kimberly and Guy, along with their sons Robert and Spencer, and daughter Samantha look forward to meeting and helping you get the most out of your stay in New Orleans.
